Snr. Specialist DDIT APD Platform Data

Major accountabilities:

• Ensure adherence to Security and Compliance policies and procedures·
• Collaborate with various stakeholders and assist in architecting, designing and implement the optimal solutions with best practice and standards·
• Expertise in Ataccama DQ tool. Create robust data quality pipeline using Ataccama DQ and ONE Desktop, ensuring it is ready for analytics and reporting.·
• Be proficient in writing scripting or programming language to handle large volume of data processing.·
• Adopt DevOps methodologies and tools for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) and automate to enhance data engineering processes.·
• Experience to work on AWS data lakes to store and process both structured and unstructured data sets. Contribute to development of best practices for data engineering.
• Provide guidance and mentorship junior data engineers and team members by sharing best practices and knowledge. Ability to work in Agile develop methodology.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5-8 years total experience in IT, with at least two year’s experience in Ataccama tool.
• Strong hands-on experience in developing data pipeline using Databricks, Snowflake etc.
• Strong hands-on experience in python programming, SQL.
• Able to lead junior developers.
• Experience in deployment methodology, jenkin, bitbucket.
• Awareness of data management principles, data catalog products and master data solutions
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, accountability, written and verbal communication skills, and time management aligned with Novartis Values & Behaviors; deep technical expertise and understanding of the business processes and systems.
