We are seeking a highly experienced Snowflake Developer with strong expertise in data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor and train existing team members. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and ensuring smooth integration of Snowflake with various data sources and downstream systems.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake.
Work on data modeling, performance optimization, and query tuning to ensure efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and BI teams to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices are followed.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance and data-related issues.
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to existing resources, helping them upskill in Snowflake and related technologies.
Support migration and integration efforts from legacy systems to Snowflake.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake development.
Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and query optimization.
Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration platforms.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data ecosystem.
Good understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
Prior experience in training and mentoring team members is highly desirable.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation.
Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for data visualization.
Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and version control (Git).
