SMS Manager

As an SMS Manager at Charlie Foxtrot Aviation Services, your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and maintain the organization's Safety Management System (SMS) in compliance with DGCA regulations. Your role involves ensuring a proactive approach to safety risk management, promoting a strong safety culture, and overseeing safety reporting, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain the SMS framework in accordance with regulatory standards - Develop and update safety policies, procedures, and manuals - Ensure SMS integration across all operational departments (flight operations, maintenance, ground handling, etc.) - Lead safety risk assessments and hazard identification processes - Analyze safety data to identify trends and mitigate risks - Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to reduce safety risks - Manage the safety reporting system - Oversee incident/accident investigations and root cause analysis - Ensure timely reporting to regulatory authorities when required - Ensure SMS compliance with regulatory audits - Conduct internal safety audits and inspections - Prepare for and support external safety audits - Monitor SMS performance through Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) - Maintain Safety Performance Targets (SPTs) - Prepare safety performance reports for senior management and regulators - Utilize safety data tools such as Flight Data Monitoring and FOQA Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors degree in Aviation Management, Safety Science, Engineering, or related field - Experience in aviation safety, SMS, or risk management - Experience with regulatory compliance - Background in flight operations, maintenance is a plus - SMS Certification - Strong analytical and risk assessment skills - Excellent communication and leadership abilities - Proficiency in safety management software If you meet the mandatory requirements and are interested in this challenging opportunity, please email your updated resume to hr@charliefoxtrot.in.
