What You'll Do

• Act as the

  primary coding expert

  for EM OP/IP and SDS cases.

• Train and mentor

  coding staff, developing engaging training materials and refresher sessions.

• Coach coders

  on accuracy, compliance, and best practices to drive performance.
• Conduct

  quality audits

  , provide actionable feedback, and resolve complex coding issues.
• Ensure

  regulatory compliance

  with ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and CMS guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve

  denials, disputes, and escalated queries

• Lead

  process improvement initiatives

  to optimize coding efficiency and quality.

What Were Looking For

• Education:

  Bachelor's degree in a related field (Health Information Management, Life Sciences, or equivalent).

• Experience:

  3+ years of hands-on experience in

  medical coding

  with expertise in

  E/M (OP & IP) and SDS

  .

• Certifications (Preferred/Required):

  CPC, COC, CRC, CCS, or equivalent AAPC/AHIMA certification.

• Skills:

• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines.
  
• Excellent

  communication and presentation

  abilities.
• Ability to

  mentor, coach, and inspire

  coding professionals.
• Strong

  analytical and problem-solving

  mindset.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR and coding software.
