Key Qualifications: Diploma / Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 4 to 10 years of experience in power distribution, AMISP, or smart metering projects. Sound knowledge of LT/HT electrical systems, metering protocols, and safety procedures. Familiarity with DISCOM operations, GIS/mapping, and mobile data capture tools is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and ensure timely and quality installation of smart meters as per project guidelines and DISCOM standards. Coordinate with contractors, site teams, and vendors to manage field operations and resolve on-site technical issues. Conduct site surveys, feasibility checks, and ensure adherence to electrical safety norms and regulatory compliance. Monitor daily progress, maintain installation records, and update project MIS/reporting dashboards. Provide technical support for meter commissioning, configuration, and integration with backend systems (AMI/HES). Collaborate with utility teams during inspections, testing, and acceptance procedures.
