As a Software Delivery Lead , you will be responsible for ensuring timely, high-quality, and efficient delivery of all software solutions and products developed by BCITS. This includes project planning, resource management, risk mitigation, quality assurance, and coordination with cross-functional teams. You will lead delivery of products such as: Head-End System (HES) Meter Data Management (MDM) Unified Billing Systems (UBS) Mobile Applications (Consumer & Officer) Workforce Management Platforms Your role is critical to meeting client commitments, driving continuous improvement, and supporting BCITSs mission to deliver reliable, scalable enterprise software. Key Responsibilities Delivery Ownership Take complete ownership of end-to-end software delivery of all BCITS products across projects and customers. Develop and manage detailed delivery plans, schedules, and resource allocation. Ensure adherence to contractual commitments, SLAs, and quality standards. Project & Program Management Oversee multiple concurrent software delivery projects, ensuring they are executed on time, within scope, and within budget. Track project health and proactively resolve delivery challenges, dependencies, and risks. Ensure smooth transitions across project stagesfrom development to implementation, testing, and go-live. Team Leadership Lead and mentor cross-functional delivery teams, including project managers, developers, QA engineers, and deployment specialists. Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement. Stakeholder Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for delivery-related communication with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. Provide regular updates to senior management on delivery status, risks, and achievements. Process Excellence Establish and continuously improve delivery processes, tools, and standards. Drive implementation of best practices in Agile/Scrum methodologies. Ensure compliance with security, compliance, and data privacy requirements. Quality Assurance & Customer Success Oversee product testing, acceptance, and handover to support/operations. Ensure delivered solutions meet customer expectations and contractual obligations.

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional with hands-on knowledge in smart metering infrastructure and associated technologies. The candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the end-to-end operations of AMI systems including smart meters, HES, MDM, MDAS, cloud infrastructure, and communication technologies such as GPRS and RF. Key Responsibilities: 1) Smart Meter Technology Understand the architecture and functionality of smart meters. Support integration, configuration, and troubleshooting of smart meters. 2) HES (Head-End System) Monitor and manage communication between smart meters and backend systems. Ensure data collection, validation, and transfer to downstream systems. Work with OEMs/vendors to troubleshoot HES-related issues. 3) MDM (Meter Data Management) Manage and support the MDM system for validating, storing, and processing meter data. Coordinate with billing teams for data consistency and availability. Implement and maintain data validation and estimation routines 4) MDAS (Meter Data Acquisition System) Ensure accurate and timely data acquisition from field devices. Manage data acquisition schedules, logs, and exceptions. Coordinate with field teams for device-level issues. 5) Cloud Server Management Coordinate with IT/cloud teams for cloud infrastructure hosting HES/MDM systems. Ensure system uptime, scalability, and data security. Assist in cloud backup and disaster recovery planning. 6) GPRS / RF Technology Manage and troubleshoot communication networks used by smart meters. Ensure reliable data transmission via GPRS or RF mesh technologies. Collaborate with communication vendors to resolve issues in the field. and maintain data validation and estimation routines Required Skills and Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or related field 2. Minimum 1 or 2 years of experience in AMI, smart metering, or utility IT systems 3. Good understanding of HES/MDM/MDAS systems and cloud platforms 4. Knowledge of communication protocols such as DLMS/COSEM, GPRS, RF Mesh, etc. 5. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills 6. Ability to work with cross-functional teams (field, IT, vendors)
