Sitecore Specialist I

Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Sitecore Specialist to manage and update assigned website properties and support the transition to Sitecore XM Cloud. Ongoing management includes content updates, new page creation, customer journey understanding, analytics and SEO best practices are implementation across our digital platforms. This role will work closely with marketing, IT, and external partners to ensure management and a smooth migration and maintain a consistent, optimized web presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Sitecore Management & Maintenance

• Manage routine content updates and page publishing within Sitecore.
• Ensure brand consistency and accuracy across all web pages.
• Collaborate with business units to gather and implement content changes.
• Review of website analytics, provide recommendations based on data and trends.
• Update management and maintenance strategies based on trends in AI search, use of GPTs and other changes in customer behavior.

Sitecore XM Cloud Transition Support

• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to support the migration to Sitecore XM Cloud.
• Assist in content mapping, quality checks, and publishing during the transition.
• Track progress and flag issues related to content structure, formatting, or user experience.
• Monitor website performance throughout transition.

SEO & Web Optimization

• Apply basic SEO best practices (metadata, headings, alt text, internal linking).
• Monitor page performance and suggest improvements based on analytics.
• Coordinate with SEO specialists or agencies for deeper optimization efforts.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in digital content management or website coordination.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (Sitecore experience preferred).
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and web analytics.
• Strong understanding of HTML and CSS
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to cloud-based CMS platforms or digital transformation projects.
• Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, AHREFS, or Screaming Frog.
