Site Supervisor (Civil)

As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing day-to-day operations on industrial construction sites to ensure efficient and safe progress according to project specifications and timelines. Your responsibilities will include: - **Site Management:** Oversee and manage daily activities on-site, ensuring work progresses as per the construction schedule and plan. - **Workforce Supervision:** Supervise and direct workers on-site, ensuring their safety and efficiency. - **Material & Equipment Management:** Coordinate with the procurement team for timely delivery of project materials and equipment. - **Reporting & Documentation:** Maintain daily site reports, update progress logs, and report any issues, delays, or deviations to the Site or Project Manager. - **Problem-Solving:** Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to prevent delays in the construction schedule. - **Inspection and Compliance:** Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices. - **Site Cleanliness:** Maintain an organized, hazard-free, and clean construction site for a safe working environment. Qualifications & Skills required for this role include: - **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Civil. - **Experience:** Minimum of 1-2 years in industrial construction, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. - **Knowledge:** Strong understanding of construction processes, blueprints, and relevant building codes. - **Leadership:** Proven experience in managing teams of workers and subcontractors. - **Communication Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - **Problem-Solving:** Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to manage site-related challenges effectively. - **Technology:** Familiarity with construction management software and Microsoft tools.
