Position Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Purchase Manager with deep expertise in civil construction industrial materials and Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) procurement. The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end purchasing, from vendor identification and negotiation to issuing orders and ensuring timely delivery. Experience in industrial construction projects and strong negotiation ability are musts.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement for all types of civil construction industrial materials and PEB components
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to get the best price, quality, and delivery terms
• Issue RFQs, compare quotations, finalize vendors, and raise purchase orders
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites and monitor inventory levels
• Maintain accurate records of vendor data, purchase orders, and delivery status
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and accounts for material planning, reconciliation, and billing
• Monitor material cost trends and maintain budget control
• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with project timelines
• Prepare MIS reports, supplier performance reviews, and maintain documentation
• Participate in contract negotiation and vendor development for long-term partnerships
• Work closely with PEB fabricators, manufacturers, and structural vendors for timely execution

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in procurement for civil industrial construction and PEB projects
• In-depth knowledge of all types of construction materials used in industrial projects
• Proven ability to handle end-to-end purchase operations, from inquiry to delivery
• Excellent in price negotiation, cost optimization, and vendor handling
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic reading), and ERP systems
• Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills
• Willingness to travel to Pune, site locations, and vendor facilities as needed
• Preferably based in Mumbai or willing to relocate
