Site Supervisor (Civil)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor with a strong background in medium-sized building construction and proven expertise in managing Hindi-speaking labor teams. The ideal candidate will have a track record of successfully overseeing construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Management: Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and safely in accordance with project plans and specifications.

Team Supervision: Manage and direct Hindi-speaking labor teams, providing clear instructions, guidance, and support to ensure high productivity and quality workmanship.

Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate activities, resolve issues, and ensure project milestones are achieved.

Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards. Address and rectify any issues that arise promptly.

Resource Management: Oversee the use and maintenance of equipment and materials, ensuring resources are utilized effectively and wastage is minimized.

Reporting: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, incident reports, and daily logs. Provide regular updates to project managers and other stakeholders.

Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all site personnel. Conduct safety meetings and training as needed.

Problem Solving: Address and resolve any on-site problems or conflicts quickly and effectively, maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in medium-sized building construction projects.

Language Skills: Fluent in Hindi, with the ability to effectively communicate and manage Hindi-speaking labor teams.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations. Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce.

Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle unexpected challenges and make sound decisions under pressure.

Education: Relevant certifications or degrees in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field are preferred,others can also apply
