The Bangalore Site Leader role has four distinct responsibilities:
- JFWTC Site Leader: The JFWTC Site Leader drives strategic direction for one of GE Aerospaces most complex and dynamic global sitesa 50-acre campus housing over 6,000 employees and contractors, with 5 collocated companies and 8 legal entities. This leader is accountable for delivering operational excellence, including managing commercial leases, ensuring regulatory compliance, and financials. They champion environmental, health, and safety standards while fostering collaboration with local government agencies to maintain compliance and strengthen community engagement. Their leadership ensures the seamless integration of tenant operations with GE Aerospaces broader strategic goals.
- Bangalore Engineering Centre (BEC) Site Leader: The BEC Site Leader provides visionary leadership to a diverse team of 800+ engineering professionals across critical functions such as FoF, CESE, ID&B, IM, and Electric Power. They deploy GE Aerospaces proprietary FLIGHT DECK operating model to deliver breakthrough operational, financial, and Hoshin Kanri (HK) goals. This leader cultivates a world-class, inclusive work environment that drives innovation and customer value, while spearheading regional engineering support across India, MENAT, and APAC. They build strategic relationships with Indias aerospace regulators and leverage the local ecosystem to deliver exceptional value for customers, fleets, suppliers, and MRO shops, ensuring GE Aerospaces leadership in the region.
- Research (Bangalore) Site Leader: The Research Site Leader shapes the future of GE Aerospace by leading a team of 125+ researchers in India to deliver transformative growth solutions across TODAY, TOMORROW, and FUTURE business horizons. They deploy FLIGHT DECK to drive technology innovation and create game-changing platforms for customers. Their strategic leadership aligns resources with emerging tech trends, ensuring impactful contributions to business growth and value creation. They focus on attracting, developing, and retaining niche talent to advance cutting-edge research, positioning GE Aerospace as a leader in aerospace innovation.
- Support DT Team at Site: The leader provides functional oversight to the 450+ employee Digital Technology (DT) team at the Bangalore site, enabling them to deliver critical digital solutions that drive operational efficiency, innovation, and competitive advantage for GE Aerospace.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
- At least 15 years of Engineering Leadership experience of which at least 5 years should be in leading large complex teams.
