Position: Site Engineer – Civil & PEB Works

Location: Kochi, Kerala

Experience: 10+ yrs in EPC projects with hands-on experience in Civil and PEB works.

Reporting To: Project Manager / Project Director / Site In-Charge

Role Summary:

The Site Engineer will be overall responsible for the execution of Civil and Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) works at the project site in Kochi. The role involves managing on-site activities, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and safety compliance, while coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all on-site Civil and PEB activities, ensuring work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Coordinate with project planning, design, and QA/QC teams for smooth execution.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, monitor progress, and report daily/weekly updates.
• Inspect workmanship and materials to maintain quality standards.
• Maintain site records, including daily progress reports, documenting on-site activities, safety logs, and inspection reports.
• Monitor and enforce safety compliance on-site.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for timely delivery and installation of PEB components.
• Identify and resolve technical and operational issues on-site.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil / mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards for civil construction and PEB structures.
• Experience in site execution, planning, and quality management.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of PEB erection and Civil construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in fast-paced project environments.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and site management practices.
• Proficiency in project management and reporting tools.

Preferred Certifications:

• Site Safety Certification (NEBOSH / IOSH) – preferred.
• AutoCAD – knowledge desirable.
• Project Management Certification (PMP / equivalent) – an added advantage.
