Site Engineer (Civil)

As a Construction Project Engineer, your role involves studying the drawings, project specifications, and standards in order to prepare a comprehensive list of materials, tools & tackles, and machinery required for the project. You will closely monitor manpower utilization, material consumption, safety norms, and quality standards to ensure efficient project execution. Your responsibilities will include cage fabrication, pile casting, BBS preparation, and reconciliation. Additionally, you will conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks to maintain a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities: - Review work schedules and delegate tasks to the construction team - Organize construction materials and negotiate vendor contracts - Conduct preliminary inspections at potential construction sites - Gather data and write site reports and other necessary documentation - Determine project feasibility and provide approval - Develop construction project budget estimates - Provide technical advice and resolve technical difficulties - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations - Collaborate with clients, construction crews, subcontractors, and other professionals Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field - Proven experience in construction project management - Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also coordinate with all departments to ensure the smooth execution of work. It is important to submit daily progress reports to management as well as client representatives to keep them informed about the project status. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be crucial in successfully completing construction projects within deadlines.,
