Job Description

The Site Construction Manager will lead on-site execution and delivery of retail store fit-out projects from mobilization to handover. The role requires hands-on experience in managing multiple contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-efficient store delivery aligned with brand standards and safety norms

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Execution & Delivery
Oversee end-to-end site execution for new store build-outs, renovations, and refurbishments.
Manage day-to-day coordination between civil, MEP, interior, and specialist contractors.
Review drawings, BOQs, and specifications before execution to ensure design intent and accuracy.
Conduct regular site progress meetings and report deviations to the Project Manager.
Ensure all site activities comply with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
2. Vendor & Contractor Management
Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and vendors for timely work delivery.
Validate measurement sheets, running bills, and site progress before certification.
Monitor manpower productivity, resource allocation, and work sequencing.
Manage site-level procurement coordination and material flow to prevent delays.
3. Quality, Safety & Compliance
Implement and enforce safety standards, PPE usage, and housekeeping practices.
Ensure workmanship and materials meet approved quality benchmarks.
Conduct site audits, snag reviews, and final handover checks with QA/QC and design teams.
Liaise with mall management, landlords, and local authorities for permits and compliance.
4. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily progress reports, photo documentation, and snag lists.
Update dashboards on site progress, key milestones, and delay reasons.
Support post-completion evaluations, lessons learned, and process improvement reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor s Degree / Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
6-10 years of experience in retail, commercial, or interior fit-out projects.
Proven track record in fast-track retail rollouts and multi-location execution.
Strong understanding of services coordination (HVAC, Electrical, Fire-Fighting) and interior finishes.
Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera, AutoCAD, and Excel-based reporting.
