Site Civil Engineer

Job Title: Mivan Civil Engineer Department: Civil / Construction Reporting To: Project Manager / Site In-Charge Location: [Project Site Location] Experience Required: 3+ years in Mivan Shuttering / Aluform Technology --- Job Summary: The Mivan Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing all Mivan shuttering-related activities at the site, ensuring timely slab cycles, quality standards, safety compliance, and coordination with other engineering departments. --- Key Responsibilities: 1. Site Execution & Planning Execute Mivan shuttering works as per construction drawings and method statements. Plan daily, weekly, and monthly targets based on project timelines. Ensure proper installation of wall panels, deck panels, beam soffits, and other Mivan elements. 2. Team Supervision & Coordination Supervise carpenters, fitters, and unskilled labor involved in Mivan work. Coordinate with structural engineers, QA/QC teams, and subcontractors. Manage manpower to ensure smooth slab cycle flow (target 7–10 day cycle). 3. Quality Assurance Conduct pre and post-concreting checks for alignment, levels, and surface quality. Ensure deshuttering is done safely without damaging panels. Implement MEP sleeve coordination before pour. 4. Material Management Monitor usage and inventory of Mivan components, pins, wedges, wall ties, etc. Maintain records of material movement and damage. Coordinate with the store and logistics for timely availability. 5. Documentation & Reporting Maintain daily work progress reports, hindrance logs, and delay trackers. Report slab cycle duration and progress updates to project heads. Prepare checklists and inspection reports as per QA/QC standards. 6. Safety & Compliance Ensure safety of workers and compliance with all safety standards. Conduct toolbox talks and promote safe work culture at the site. Report incidents and take corrective actions. --- Qualifications & Skills: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Hands-on experience with Mivan / Aluform / Aluminum formwork. Strong understanding of construction drawings & structural details. Good communication, planning, and leadership skills. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel for reporting. --- Preferred: Experience in high-rise residential/commercial projects. Knowledge of slab cycle optimization techniques. Familiarity with modern formwork system.
