Site Civil Engineer

Job Title: Civil Site Engineer – Road Projects Location: Tijara (Rajasthan) & Jaipur (Rajasthan) Project Type: Government Road Projects – Flexible Pavement & Rigid Pavement ⸻ Role Overview We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Site Engineer to supervise and manage government road construction projects including Flexible Pavement and Rigid Pavement works. The candidate must possess strong technical skills, hands-on site execution experience, and thorough understanding of DSR/BSR and MoRTH Specifications to ensure delivery of high-quality outcomes as per government standards. ⸻ Key Responsibilities • Execute and supervise day-to-day road construction activities (GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, PQC, DLC etc.). • Ensure implementation of MoRTH specifications, drawings, QAP, safety standards, and approved methodologies. • Manage site measurements, leveling, and setting out of all road works. • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives for smooth workflow. • Prepare RA Bills, measurement sheets, DPR (Daily Progress Reports), and related documentation. • Verify BOQ items, rate analysis and ensure compliance with DSR/BSR. • Supervision of material quality: GSB, aggregates, bitumen, cement, reinforcement, and concrete. • Oversee laboratory testing for soil, WMM, bitumen mix, cube testing, slump testing etc. • Monitor project schedule, identify delays, and support timely corrective actions. • Ensure work is completed within cost, time, and quality parameters. • Maintain proper documentation and support audits and client inspections. • Resolve site issues and provide technical solutions in consultation with project management. ⸻ Required Skills & Qualifications • Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. • 3 to 7 years of experience in highway/road construction projects. • Strong knowledge of Flexible and Rigid Pavement construction processes. • Thorough understanding of MoRTH Specification, DSR/BSR, BOQ and rate analysis. • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and surveying instruments (Total Station, Level). • Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and contract documents. • Effective communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. ⸻ Additional Requirements • Willingness to work at project site locations in Rajasthan (Tijara / Jaipur). • Candidate must be familiar with site safety and quality assurance practices. • Knowledge of billing and government procedures will be an added advantage.
