Role Overview

The Site Engineer is responsible for managing, executing, and supervising construction activities on-site to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. This role requires close coordination with project managers, contractors, consultants, and labor teams to ensure smooth site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Supervision
• Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor progress against the project schedule and report delays or issues.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Quality Control
• Conduct inspections and quality checks of materials and workmanship.
• Ensure adherence to design specifications, codes, and safety regulations.
• Address non-conformance issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordination & Communication
• Liaise with architects, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate with the procurement team for timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain clear communication between project management and site teams.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports and submit to project management.
• Maintain site records, including drawings, work permits, inspection reports, and labor attendance.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, measurements, and bills.
• Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at the site.
• Monitor workers’ safety and implement preventive measures to avoid accidents.
• Conduct regular safety toolbox talks with site teams.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 2–5 years of relevant site experience in construction/infrastructure projects.
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera (added advantage).
• Soft Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
