Site Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site execution, ensuring work is carried out as per architectural drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Prepare, maintain, and update Gantt charts, project schedules, milestones, and progress tracking.
• Coordinate effectively with the Architect(s), Client’s Office, Consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee a team of site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers; ensure quality control and inspection.
• Manage site documentation, approvals, and permits as required under local government norms.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, statutory regulations, and government project procedures.
• Report regularly to the Project Manager / Head Architect on project status, risks, delays, and corrective actions.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in

  Architecture

  or equivalent; additional credentials in Civil / Construction Management are an advantage.
• 10-15 years of relevant site experience, especially in government / institutional / museum/heritage projects.
• Strong familiarity with project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.) and ability to produce and monitor time schedules (Gantt charts, etc.).
• Excellent communication, liaison, and negotiation skills with architects, clients, and government bodies.
• Thorough knowledge of statutory permissions, government tendering/contracting procedures.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving mindset, ability to work under constraints (cost, quality, timelines).
