Role Description :

We are looking for a skilled Shopify Developer who can build, customize, and optimize Shopify themes and apps. The ideal candidate should have strong frontend expertise, hands-on experience with Shopify Liquid, and a solid understanding of Shopify’s ecosystem including theme development, app integration, and storefront performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JSON templates.
• Build and integrate custom sections, blocks, metafields, and apps based on project requirements.
• Optimize storefront performance, SEO, accessibility and page speed.
• Implement Shopify API integrations (REST & GraphQL) and work with Shopify App Bridge/Polaris when needed.
• Troubleshoot theme issues, fix bugs, improve UI/UX, and ensure responsive design across all devices.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and project managers for end-to-end implementation.
• Create custom functionality such as:

a) Dynamic product pages

b) Personalized recommendations

c) Cart/checkout enhancements

d) Filters, search, and AJAX features

• Provide ongoing support, updates, and improvements for existing Shopify stores.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Dawn/Horizon themes and Shopify Online Store 2.0 (OS 2.0).
• Skilled in creating custom Shopify sections and theme blocks.
• Hands-on experience using Shopify Admin, metafields, customizer, and app setup.
• Understanding of Shopify’s checkout, product variant logic, and dynamic sections.
• Expertise in responsive, mobile-first development.
• Basic familiarity with Shopify CLI, Git, and version control.
• Hosting platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, Vercel, etc.)
• Deployment workflows
• Basic CI/CD, environment variables, build pipelines

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React (Polaris/Remix) for app development.
• Knowledge of Shopify Functions, Webhooks, and API integrations.
• Ability to work with third-party APIs and automate workflows.
• Understanding of Liquid templating best practices for performance.

Additional Skills :

• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an agile team.
• Good communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
• Git proficiency for version control and code management.

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• 5years and above (Required)

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
