Shipping Executive

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Executive to manage and oversee our shipping operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires excellent organizational skills and a strong understanding of shipping processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shipment Coordination: Oversee the shipping process from order confirmation to delivery, ensuring all shipments are processed accurately and on time.
• Carrier Management: Liaise with shipping carriers and freight forwarders to negotiate rates and schedules, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Documentation: Prepare and manage shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure adequate stock for fulfilling orders.
• Customer Communication: Communicate with customers regarding shipment status, delivery timelines, and any potential issues.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any shipping-related issues or discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies, including customs regulations for international shipments.
• Data Entry: Maintain accurate records of shipments, returns, and inventory levels in the company’s shipping software.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, procedures, and best practices.
• Proficiency in using shipping software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
