Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Ship Broker, located in Mumbai. The Ship Broker will be responsible for negotiating and arranging the transportation of goods by sea, managing client relationships, conducting market research, and ensuring all logistical arrangements are in place. The Ship Broker will also liaise with ship owners and charterers, prepare shipping contracts, and monitor shipping schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Qualifications

• Experience with negotiating and arranging sea transport of goods
• Familiarity with shipping contracts and logistical arrangements
• Excellent client relationship management and communication skills
• Ability to conduct market research and analyze market trends
• Experience in ensuring timely delivery of goods and monitoring shipping schedules
• Relevant industry certifications or qualifications are a plus
