Shift Engineer

He will be overall incharge of all electromechanical services and manage maintain operations of allelectromechanical services with the help of technical staff under him. He willbe accountable to Technical Manager for ensuring that all services aremaintained operational and will be responsible to take independent decision forhandling emergencies/breakdowns.

Essential duties& responsibilities include but not limited to:

Prepare & Implement Planned Preventive Maintenance and assumeresponsibility for completion of assigned tasks.

Prepare estimates on building repair and maintenance jobs;evaluate maintenance and repair needs.

Maintaining & Operationof Assets of Facility Equipments (HVAC, Transformers, DG Plumbing & FireFighting System). Co-coordinating staff requirements and staff briefings. Troubleshooting the problems faced by clients& Equipments on Day to Day Operation.

Technical support:-Monthly Billing, Monthly reports, Daily Reports,Attending the Complaints related to Technical & Coordinating &Supporting to vendors(DG Monthly checks & B checks, Tanks Cleaning, Chiller& Breaker Servicing.

Conduct inspections of building and review work ofsubordinate staff. Coordinating with the maintenance of facilities, building,and equipment, as appropriate, to ensure optimumfunctionality; identifies, assesses, negotiates as necessary, and resolvesbuilding maintenance and usage problems

Track staff schedules andperform other record keeping tasks (Check lists, Complaints), Working closelywith the Technical staff to ensure that the Service quality, Acts immediatelyon all customer complaints to ensure that corrections are made when possible. Supervise, train and evaluate assigned personnel and respondto emergencies in a timely manner.

Guide technicians inrepairing motors, pumps, and plumbing for water supply and other equipments. Fixingfaults or arranging for replacements to be installed

Carrying out qualityinspections and responding immediately to equipment breakdowns.

Implement systems andprocedures that ensure safety of visitors, employees, plant, machinery andproperty.

Ensure that all theengineering & maintenance activities/systems adhere to thestandards / efficiency / productivity levels that have been set for the unit.

Respond promptly, courteously and efficiently to any maintenance callsthat arise either by the clients or other departments to their satisfaction.

Able to prioritise the maintenance issues e.g.: to attend the breakdownof plant and machinery on priority.

Inform Technical Manager of recurring complaints and prepare defectanalysis to derive corrective action plan.

Responsible to take decisions when the Tech. Manager and Assistant Managerare not available.

Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies asneeded.

Train and instruct other members of the staff through sharing ofknowledge and skills.
