About The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced ServiceNow ITSM Developer to join a client-facing delivery team responsible for implementing and enhancing ServiceNow ITSM capabilities. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and maintainable ServiceNow solutions that improve IT operations, incident and change management, and end-user experiences.Role & Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and configure ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request) using platform best practices.
  • Author server-side and client-side scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Client Scripts) and optimize GlideRecord queries for performance.
  • Develop and maintain Service Portal components, widgets and custom UI to deliver intuitive end-user experiences.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub spokes, and MID Server-based integrations.
  • Implement Flow Designer workflows, orchestration where required, and manage Update Sets, application scoping, and release artifacts.
  • Collaborate with architects, testers and stakeholders to produce design documents, unit tests, and operational runbooks; troubleshoot production issues and apply fixes.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
  • Proven experience delivering ServiceNow ITSM implementations in production environments.
  • Strong JavaScript proficiency and practical experience with GlideRecord and ServiceNow APIs.
  • Hands-on experience building Service Portal widgets and customizing Service Portal UI.
  • Experience using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub for workflow and integration development.
  • Practical experience integrating using REST APIs and working with MID Server for on-prem integrations.
  • Familiarity with Update Sets, application scopes, ACLs, and platform upgrade considerations.

Preferred

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM).
  • Experience with Discovery, Orchestration, or ITOM modules.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow and automated testing frameworks.
