Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing ServiceNow modules, administering, improving, and supporting the latest ServiceNow platform. Your key responsibilities will include: - Performing all aspects of Platform Administration, Design, Development, and implementation of ServiceNow. - Handling minor and major enhancement requests to clients' ServiceNow instance(s), including changes to the user interface, system properties, foundation data, and existing workflows. - Utilizing extensive experience in working with ServiceNow glide objects such as GlideRecords, GlideSystem, GlideAggregate, GlideAjax, etc. - Facilitating the rollout of new applications and modules in ServiceNow. - Identifying system deficiencies and recommending solutions as a trusted advisor to clients. - Assisting in ServiceNow upgrade administration to ensure clients leverage the latest releases of the ServiceNow application in a timely manner with minimal disruption to client IT operations. - Ensuring the development/production environment has appropriate tools and processes in place that are reliable and reproducible. - Maintaining tool configuration consistency across development, testing, and production environments. - Analyzing issues, estimating efforts, proposing solutions or prototyping, and rigorously following ServiceNow development best practices. - Handling system integration using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP. - Demonstrating flexibility and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. - Utilizing deep functional and technical knowledge of ServiceNow and demonstrating experience with ServiceNow platform navigation, administration, configuration, and scripting. - Understanding ITIL concepts and IT Service Management practices (ITIL v3 certification is a plus). - Understanding Agile based approach to software development (SCRUM experience is a plus). - Ability to work remotely and largely unsupervised, and deliver to written requirements. Qualifications required for this role include: - Experience in ServiceNow (ITSM, ITAM, CSM, ITOM, IRM, CMDB). - Understanding of the project delivery lifecycle and processes. - Practical experience in creating or modifying relevant CSM, ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, IRM, toolset components. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with all levels of staff. - Consultative and analytical approach. - Real-world exposure to cloud technologies and S-a-a-S. - Proven experience implementing ITSM tools; demonstrated experience with Incident Management, Service Request Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, and other ITIL process areas.
