Service Now Developer

As an experienced ServiceNow Developer, your role involves collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing scalable, performant, secure, and maintainable ServiceNow solutions. - Providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful implementations, involving developers, administrators, and business analysts. - Mentoring Developers and offering technical guidance and support when needed. - Conducting code reviews, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing solutions and recommendations. - Identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation within the ServiceNow platform. - Proactively proposing innovative solutions and new features that add business value. To qualify for this role, you should have: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 3-5 years of experience. - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow Development, focusing on building custom applications, integrations, and workflows. - In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM modules like Service Catalog, Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management. - Proficiency in configuring and customizing ServiceNow, including foundational data setup, such as service catalog, categories, items, and request workflows. - Experience with ServiceNow integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, Integration HUB, and data exchange mechanisms. - Strong understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management principles. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Preferred qualifications for this role include: - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification. - Experience with other ServiceNow custom application development and portal development. - Proficiency in JavaScript, Business Rules, Server-side scripting, Client-side Scripting, Script Includes, service catalog, widgets, scheduled jobs, email notifications, reporting, and dashboards.
