Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using

  ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework)

  to validate ServiceNow applications and configurations.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to gather testing requirements and design test scenarios.
  
• Perform functional and regression testing on ServiceNow applications, including ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, and other ServiceNow modules.
  
• Identify, document, and track defects in ServiceNow configurations and workflows and collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  
• Conduct automated tests for ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure stability across releases.
  
• Execute end-to-end test scenarios, including integrations and customizations, and validate data flow between ServiceNow and third-party applications.
  
• Review requirements and user stories to create detailed test cases and perform impact analysis.
  
• Continuously improve testing processes and recommend best practices for ServiceNow test automation.
  
• Provide status reports on testing progress, defect metrics, and test results.
  
• Lead and guide junior testers in implementing test strategies and executing test plans.
  
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to testing best practices and standards.
  
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality results within established timelines.
  

Skills Required

• 8+ years of experience in testing ServiceNow applications, with a focus on

  Automated Test Framework (ATF)

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  ServiceNow modules

  like ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog), ITAM (Asset Management), ITOM (Discovery, Event Management), and others.
• Expertise in developing and executing automated test scripts using

  ServiceNow ATF

  .
• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform and its configurations (UI policies, business rules, workflows, etc.).
  
• Strong experience in

  functional, regression, and integration testing

  within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow update sets and understanding of the impact of changes during upgrades or patching.
  
• Hands-on experience with testing integrations (REST/SOAP) between ServiceNow and other applications.
  
• Knowledge of scripting languages like

  JavaScript

  ,

  GlideScript

  , and the ability to automate test cases using these scripts.
• Strong experience with testing tools like

  JIRA

  ,

  TestRail

  , or similar tools for managing test cases, defects, and test execution.
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD pipelines

  and their integration with automated testing in ServiceNow.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
