Job Title: Service Engineer – Medical & Pathology Equipment

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Service Engineer to handle installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of medical, pathology laboratory, and blood bank equipment.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing efficient service support to healthcare institutions.

This position requires extensive travel across Chhattisgarh for service visits, installations, and preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install medical, pathology, and blood bank instruments at healthcare facilities.
• Configure software, calibrate equipment, and perform functional testing.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance, inspections, cleaning, and part replacements.
• Diagnose technical issues and perform necessary repairs using diagnostic tools.
• Calibrate and test equipment to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support to laboratory and medical staff.
• Maintain detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and documentation.
• Train end-users on equipment handling, safety procedures, and basic troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals, administrators, and vendors.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and effective service.
• Travel extensively across Chhattisgarh for installations and service calls.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Biomedical, or Instrumentation Engineering (Mandatory).
• ITI (Electronics/Instrumentation) candidates may be considered with relevant experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in servicing medical, laboratory, or diagnostic equipment preferred.
• Freshers with strong technical aptitude may also apply.
• Strong technical knowledge of pathology analyzers, hematology/biochemistry instruments, and blood bank equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Good communication (verbal & written) and customer-handling skills.
• High attention to detail and precision in calibration and repairs.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong willingness to travel extensively across the state.

Salary

• ₹16,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience) + travel allowances.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹210,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per year
