Service Desk Engineer

As a Service Desk Engineer at Coforge, your role involves providing hands-on support using ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools. You will be responsible for managing incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution within defined SLA timelines. Your key responsibilities include: - Utilizing ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools effectively. - Demonstrating expertise in Google Workspace products such as Gmail, Google Drive, Google Hangout, Google Workspace Admin Console, Tivoli Identity Manager, Active Directory, Shared Mailboxes, and Distribution Lists. - Exhibiting excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Composing and responding to professional emails efficiently. - Understanding and working within defined SLAs, Roles, and Responsibilities. - Providing L1/L2 support to end-users throughout the organization. - Administering user accounts, shared mailboxes, and DLs via Active Directory and Google Admin Console. - Troubleshooting issues related to Google Workspace tools and coordinating with resolver teams when necessary. - Documenting known issues and resolution steps to contribute to the knowledge base. - Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely closure of escalations and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - ITIL Foundation certification (preferred). - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
