Summary:
The Server Infrastructure Administrator L2 plays a critical role in maintaining the stability, performance, and security of enterprise-level server infrastructure within the IT Services industry. This position is responsible for the day-to-day management, monitoring, and optimization of virtualized and physical server environments, including VMware vSphere, vCenter, Windows and Linux server platforms, and leading-edge hardware from HPE, Dell, and Cisco. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, efficient resource utilization, and seamless integration across hybrid infrastructure environments. As a key contributor to infrastructure operations, the Server Infra Admin L2 supports incident resolution, performs system upgrades, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure IT services that align with business objectives. This role is essential in driving operational excellence and supporting digital transformation initiatives within a dynamic, fast-paced IT services environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain virtualized server environments using VMware vSphere and vCenter, including VM lifecycle management, resource allocation, and performance tuning.

Perform routine administration and troubleshooting of Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) systems, including patching, configuration, and security hardening.

Support and maintain physical server infrastructure, including HPE ProLiant, Dell PowerEdge, HP Synergy, and Cisco UCS platforms, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

Create, configure, and manage virtual machines (VMs) in alignment with defined standards and business requirements.

Monitor system health, performance metrics, and logs using monitoring tools; proactively identify and resolve potential infrastructure issues.

Participate in incident and problem management, providing timely resolution and contributing to root cause analysis.

Assist in the implementation of backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions across server environments.

Collaborate with network and storage teams to ensure end-to-end infrastructure integration and service continuity.

Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to maintain knowledge base and support team efficiency.

Stay current with emerging technologies, best practices, and security standards in server and virtualization infrastructure.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in server infrastructure administration within a service delivery or enterprise IT environment.

Proficient in VMware vSphere, vCenter, and virtual machine lifecycle management.

Strong experience in Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) administration, including user management, file systems, networking, and security.

Demonstrated experience with HPE ProLiant, Dell PowerEdge, HP Synergy, and Cisco UCS server platforms.

Solid understanding of server virtualization, resource optimization, and performance monitoring.

Experience in VM creation, configuration, migration, and lifecycle management.

Familiarity with backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, and high availability concepts.
