As an IIS Server Administrator at Navi Mumbai (Airoli), you will be responsible for the following: **Role Overview:** You will be required to possess a skill set for a Hosted .NET and Java Application Administrator role, combining both technical and administrative capabilities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Application Server Administration: - Configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of .NET applications using IIS (Internet Information Services) - Management of Java applications using Apache Tomcat - Operating System Management: - Administration of Windows Server for .NET hosting - Administration of Linux for Java hosting - Database Management: - Understanding of SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL basics - Experience with backup/restore, connection pooling, and tuning - Deployment & Configuration Management: - Proficiency in monitoring and performance management - Familiarity with log analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for JVM & CLR - Security & Compliance: - Managing SSL/TLS certificates - Knowledge of application firewall (WAF) concepts - Experience in patching, vulnerability management, access control, and least privilege enforcement - Networking & Load Balancing: - Implementing load balancing strategies for web applications **Qualification Required:** - Incident & Problem Management: - Ability to perform root cause analysis and handle outages and escalations - Release & Change Management: - Coordinating deployments with Dev/QA teams and following ITIL/DevOps best practices - Documentation & Knowledge Management: - Maintaining SOPs, runbooks, and deployment guides - Communication & Collaboration: - Collaborating with developers, testers, DBAs, and network teams - Providing clear reporting to stakeholders - Analytical & Troubleshooting Skills: - Proficient in diagnosing and resolving production issues promptly Please note that the job description does not include any additional details about the company.
