Job Description

Description

We are seeking a skilled Server Administrator to oversee our server infrastructure and ensure optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in server management and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain server performance and availability.
Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity.
Troubleshoot and resolve server issues in a timely manner.
Install, configure, and upgrade server hardware and software.
Implement security measures to safeguard the server environment.
Collaborate with other IT staff to support network and server infrastructure.
Document server configurations and changes for compliance and troubleshooting purposes.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
1-5 years of experience in server administration or related roles.
Proficient in Windows and Linux server environments.
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware Esxi.
Knowledge of networking protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Familiarity with server monitoring tools and performance tuning.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
