SEO & Performance Marketing Executive

We’re looking for a young, curious, and ambitious SEO Executive (1 Year Experience) who’s ready to grow fast in the world of search. At Lemon Yellow, we believe SEO isn’t just about ranking keywords, it’s about understanding how people search, speak, explore, and interact with digital content today.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research to identify high-potential keywords across industries (internal + clients).
• Perform on-page and off-page SEO to improve search visibility and rankings.
• Monitor website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly content that ranks and engages.
• Perform technical SEO audits and recommend website improvements.
• Track and report key SEO metrics like organic traffic, keyword positions, conversions, etc.
• Suggest improvements in website structure, design, and user experience.
• Implement local SEO strategies where applicable.
• Stay updated on search trends including AI-driven search, SERP changes, AEO/GEO shifts, and algorithm updates.
• Experiment with how AEO and GEO can complement traditional SEO (no prior experience needed; we’ll explore together!).

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in SEO (freshers with strong basics may be considered).
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.
• Eagerness to learn AEO/GEO and experiment with how AI and SEO work together
• Understanding tools like SEMrush, Uber Suggest or Surfer SEO are a bonus!
• Strong understanding of on-page and off-page SEO.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website structure.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive insights.
• Effective communication skills, both written & verbal.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and with a team.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related fields.
• SEO or digital marketing certification is a bonus.
• Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
• Knowledge of local SEO strategies.
