Job description As an SEO Manager within Poonawalla Fincorp, youll play a critical role in enhancing our online visibility, driving organic traffic, and optimizing our digital presence. Your expertise in search engine optimization (SEO) will directly impact our business goals. Here are the details: Responsibilities: 1. Develop and Execute Effective SEO Strategies: Create and implement SEO strategies tailored to the BFSI sector. Optimize website content and landing pages to improve rankings. Conduct keyword research specific to lending and related financial services. 2. Technical SEO and Onpage Optimization: Review and address technical SEO issues related to our website. Collaborate with web developers to enhance site performance. Ensure our website adheres to industry standards and best practices. 3. Offpage Optimization and Link-Building: Manage offpage optimization projects, including link-building campaigns. Foster relationships with relevant industry websites and influencers. Monitor backlink profiles and disavow harmful links. 4. Content Strategy and Collaboration: Work closely with content teams to align SEO efforts with content creation. Identify content gaps and opportunities for improvement. Optimize existing content for relevant keywords. 5. Analytics and Reporting: Collect and analyse data on website traffic, rankings, and user behaviour. Generate regular reports for stakeholders. Use insights to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement. Required Skills: Advanced knowledge of the best practices of SEO and the workings of technical SEO. BFSI sector experience is preferred. Knowledge of a range of SEO tools, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, PageSpeed Insights etc. Knowledge of the most common CMSs like WordPress. Understanding of link building, backlinks, and problems related to those areas. In-depth knowledge of SEO practices, algorithms, and trends. Familiarity with HTML/CSS and website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
