Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the SEO team: overseeing junior SEO executives / analysts, assigning tasks, monitoring their work and performance.
Develop, execute and monitor SEO strategies (on-page, off-page and technical) to improve organic traffic, search engine rankings and visibility.Conduct keyword research, competitor benchmarking and develop content optimisation plans.On-page SEO: optimise website(s) for metadata (titles, descriptions, headers), internal linking, URL structure, schema markup, and landing pages.Off-page SEO: oversee link-building campaigns, outreach, guest posting, citation management, backlink audits, and disavow where required.Technical SEO: perform audits (crawlability, indexation, site speed, mobile-usability, Core Web Vitals), collaborate with web/development team to implement needed fixes.Monitor, analyse and report SEO performance (organic traffic, rankings, conversions, bounce-rate, etc.) using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs.Stay updated with search-engine algorithm changes and SEO best practices; adapt strategy accordingly.
Requirements / SkillsBachelors degree (preferably in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science or related).
4-6 years of hands-on experience in SEO (on-page, off-page, technical) including experience managing or mentoring a team.Strong familiarity with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.).Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Magento) and how web technologies affect SEO.Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
