SEO Manager

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SEO Manager/Team Lead to lead our search engine optimization efforts across clients in varied industries. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of SEO strategy, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to lead a team. This role will work closely with content, tech, and paid media teams to ensure SEO is embedded into all digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• SEO Strategy & Execution:
• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies for clients—across on-page, off-page, and technical SEO—to drive organic visibility, traffic, and conversions.
• Team Leadership:
• Manage, mentor, and upskill the SEO team. Allocate tasks, ensure timely delivery, and maintain quality benchmarks.
• Client Engagement:
• Interact with clients to understand their goals, present performance reports, and propose optimization strategies.
• Technical SEO Audits:
• Conduct in-depth technical audits using tools like Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and others. Provide actionable insights for developers and content teams.
• Keyword Research & Content Planning:
• Lead keyword research and collaborate with the content team for optimized content creation and updating.
• Performance Monitoring:
• Track SEO KPIs (rankings, traffic, CTR, bounce rate, etc.), generate regular reports, and optimize campaigns accordingly.
• Cross-Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with social media, paid media, and tech teams to align SEO with overall digital strategy.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve:
• Keep up-to-date with algorithm updates, SEO trends, and best practices. Recommend and implement new strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 6–8 years of hands-on SEO experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Deep expertise in SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, GSC, etc.)
• Solid understanding of technical SEO, web architecture, and content strategy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing teams and client communication.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (especially WordPress, Shopify, etc.) is a plus.
• Ability to think strategically and drive measurable results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
