We are seeking an experienced and strategic SEO Manager with a strong focus on ecommerce SEO, technical problem-solving, reporting, and content quality assurance to lead and develop SEO team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2C e-commerce, a deep understanding of UK market trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Partners across teams (Content, Product, Dev, Data) to help maintain and improve websites rankings on Google and Bing
• Regularly audit and measure the effectiveness of our content, providing actionable insights and recommendations
• Conduct technical and content audits following algorithm updates, and create delta reports to highlight content drops and gains
• Collaborating with development team on template enhancements, site health, and recirculation opportunities
• Produce ad-hoc reports using tools like SEMRush, Sistrix, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Looker, providing insights to support decision-making processes
• Stay up to date with the latest SEO and industry trends, tools, and best practices, continually testing and implementing new strategies
• Create a comprehensive link-building strategy, targeting high-quality and relevant backlinks to improve domain authority
• Regularly review and analyze the backlink profile, disavowing harmful links and identifying opportunities for new link acquisitions
• Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers, bloggers, and webmasters to secure guest posts, mentions, and backlinks
• Work closely with content creators to promote content and earn natural backlinks through outreach, social media, and partnerships

Desired Qualifications

5-7 years of SEO experience in ecommerce brands

Strong hands on analysis, performance insights

Experience in web analytics and data visualization tools such as Looker, Looker Studio, and Google Analytics (experience with GA4 preferred), with a knack for translating data into actionable insights

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

Clear understanding of SEO best practices related to EEAT, CWV, and the requirements for success as an ecommerce brand in 2024 and beyond
