SEO & ASO Specialist

About the role:

We are looking for a SEO & ASO Specialist who will own and drive the entire organic growth charter across web and app. The ideal candidate is hands-on, data-driven, and creative, with expertise across SEO (on-page, off-page, and technical) and ASO (store listing optimization, creatives, ratings, and reviews). You'll play a critical role in increasing our discoverability, driving high-quality traffic, and improving organic conversions

Roles and responsibilities:-

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

• Manage and execute on-page SEO: keyword research, content optimization, meta tags, internal linking, site structure.
• Drive off-page SEO: link-building strategies, outreach, digital PR, partnerships.
• Handle technical SEO: crawl issues, site speed, structured data, XML sitemaps, canonicalization, indexing.
• Collaborate with content, product, and tech teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.
• Track, report, and analyse website analytics, ranking performance, and organic growth KPIs.

App Store Optimization (ASO)

• Optimize app visibility across Play Store and App Store with keywords, titles, subtitles, and descriptions.
• Drive experiments on Custom Store Listings (CSLs) and Custom Product Pages (CPPs) to improve conversion.
• Work with design teams on icon, screenshots, and video creatives for higher CVR.
• Manage and improve ratings & reviews strategy to enhance app reputation.
• Benchmark competitors and identify growth opportunities for installs and retention.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of proven experience in SEO & ASO (both hands-on).
• Strong understanding of Google algorithms, ranking factors, and app store policies.
• Experience with tools: Google Analytics, Search Console, Appsflyer/Adjust, Ahrefs/SEMrush, ASO tools (AppTweak, App Radar, etc.).
• Ability to analyse data, run A/B tests, and draw actionable insights.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with content, design, product, and tech teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in fintech/e-commerce/consumer apps.
• Knowledge of mobile marketing and growth funnels.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and technical debugging
