Overview

Happy Clicks is looking for an experienced SEO Expert to join our growing marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in search engine optimization, with a strong understanding of both on-page and off-page SEO, analytics, and performance tracking.

This role offers the opportunity to manage live client projects, optimize websites for better rankings, and work closely with our content and development teams to drive measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve website visibility and ranking.
• Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and identify opportunities for content optimization.
• Conduct on-page SEO tasks including meta tag optimization, URL structuring, internal linking, and schema markup.
• Execute off-page SEO strategies such as link building, guest posting, and directory submissions.
• Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Semrush.
• Prepare SEO reports and present insights to the team and clients.
• Stay updated with the latest search engine algorithms, trends, and best practices.
• Collaborate with developers and content creators to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all platforms.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in SEO
• Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, or Ubersuggest.
• Good understanding of HTML, WordPress, and website structures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Kochi.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience in local SEO, Google My Business optimization, and content strategy.
• Knowledge of Google Ads
• Strong teamwork, time management, and attention to detail.
