Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for an SEO Specialist located in Mumbai at Capsicum Mediaworks®. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for planning and executing SEO strategies, optimizing websites for search engines, implementing link-building campaigns, and analyzing performance to ensure improved search engine rankings.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct SEO analysis and provide recommendations for website structure, blogs, and web pages.
• Develop and implement effective link-building campaigns.
• Monitor analytics dashboards and prepare SEO strategy recommendations.
• Optimize websites for technical SEO elements, including .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, and site speed.
• Implement local and long-tail search strategies for better rankings.
• Stay updated on mobile SEO strategies like AMP and their impact on SEO.
• Work closely with content teams to align SEO with content strategies.
• Use Google services such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and Keyword Planner for SEO improvements.
• Test websites for performance issues using tools like Google PageSpeed, GTMetrix, and Pingdom.
• Prepare detailed SEO reports, audits, and recommendations for clients.
• Participate in client meetings and calls to discuss SEO reports and strategies.
• Stay updated with the latest search engine algorithms and SEO trends.

Qualifications:

• Maximum 2 year of experience in an agency managing SEO strategies for clients.
• Proficiency in WordPress CMS and Yoast SEO Plugin.
• Hands-on experience with tools like SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz, BuzzSumo, SimilarWeb, KWFinder.
• Knowledge of technical SEO including site speed optimization and structured data.
• Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office – Excel & Word).
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and goal-driven.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
