The Role

We are seeking a talented SEO Copywriter to focus exclusively on creating high-quality, search engine-optimised blog content across our brand websites (UK and US).

The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing and a strong understanding of how to drive organic traffic through strategic content.

Your primary focus will be on:

• Targeting specific keywords and topics.
• Drafting, proofreading and editing SEO-optimised blogs using tools like Claude and ChatGPT.
• Liaising with our recruiters to gather subject matter expertise and sign off copy.
• Collaborating with the SEO team to finalise, publish, and track blog performance.

This role is crucial for supporting our multi-brand strategy across 6 UK brands and 3 US brands and ensuring brand consistency in our online presence.

• This position is offered strictly on a subcontractor basis to reduce overhead costs, allowing us to offer a highly competitive rate of pay. During your agreed working hours, you are expected to remain available and contactable via Teams to enable fast, collaborative dialogue as needed.
• You must be available for regular Microsoft Teams calls with our UK-based head office.
• We are flexible on the working hours but you are expected to remain available and contactable via Teams during your agreed working hours to enable fast, collaborative dialogue as needed.
• You must have fast and reliable internet, your own up-to-date laptop or desktop computer, and either a quiet, private workspace or a high-quality headset.
• You must have fluent in English with strong communications skill both written and oral.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & SEO:

• Draft, proofread and edit SEO-optimised blogs using tools like ChatGPT and Claude.
• Research and develop content ideas based on provided keywords and topics.
• Produce clear, engaging, and grammatically flawless content that aligns with our brand voices.
• Understand how to use AI tools as part of your workflow, but maintain a clear understanding of their limitations.

Collaboration & Coordination:

• Liaise directly with recruiters and subject matter experts to gather necessary information and insights for blogs.
• Work with the SEO team to refine content for optimal search performance.
• Upload and manage finalised content on relevant brand websites (WordPress).

Multi-Brand Consistency:

• Support content activities across 6 UK brands and 3 US brands.
• Ensure content consistency across all brands.

Essential Requirements

• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Must have a Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Creative Writing or similar
• SEO Copywriting expertise in blogs and marketing materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Experience using AI tools (like Claude and ChatGPT) as part of your workflow.
• SEO knowledge and practical application.
• WordPress experience for website management.
• Available as a subcontractor.

Desirable Skills

• Experience working with UK, US, Canadian and/or Australian clients.
• Experience in the recruitment, finance, human resources or within the entrepreneurial leadership environment would be a distinct benefit.
