About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Windows System Administrator to support, manage, and enhance our global IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of servers, networks, end-user systems, and cloud services.

 The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced, distributed environments.


Key Responsibilities


Infrastructure & Systems Management

  • Manage and monitor servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and network components.
  • Configure, install, test, and maintain Windows-based systems and related infrastructure.
  • Administer Active Directory, Azure AD, O365, Teams, Exchange, and related Microsoft services.


Security & Compliance

  • Implement and maintain security policies, endpoint protection, and threat-prevention tools.
  • Manage patching strategies for servers and workstations.
  • Oversee backup, recovery, and business continuity processes.


Operational Support

  • Handle incident monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, and escalation.
  • Support a distributed and remote workforce across different time zones.
  • Maintain documentation, lifecycle management, and asset tracking for IT systems.
  • Optimization & Improvements
  • Identify system improvements and contribute to technology upgrades.
  • Manage domain names, DNS, and SSL certificates.
  • Ensure systems operate within agreed service levels and performance benchmarks.


Project & Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects.
  • Provide reporting on system health, project progress, and operational metrics.
  • Assist in budget planning for infrastructure and technology initiatives.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • 8–10+ years of experience administering Microsoft server environments.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with O365, Azure, Teams administration.
  • Strong experience with AD management, group policies, patching, automation, and system monitoring.
  • Experience with VMware or other virtualization platforms.
  • Experience with SAN/NAS storage, enterprise backup tools, and resource/capacity planning.
  • Experience supporting distributed/remote users.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft certifications (Azure Fundamentals/Associate/Engineer).
  • Experience with ticketing and ITSM platforms (Freshdesk, Zoho Desk, Remedy, etc.).
  • Exposure to mixed environments (Windows/Mac/Linux).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
