You should be a self-starter who thrives on creativity, knows how to tell a compelling story, and has a strong grasp of emerging trends in media and technology. Key Responsibilities: Creative Video Editing: Produce high-quality video content for campaigns, social media, ads, and brand storytelling that aligns with Mugafi's vision. Storytelling Expertise: Understand and interpret Mugafi’s mission and stories to create engaging content that resonates with audiences. Innovation & Tool Mastery: Utilize new-age tools (e.g., AI-driven editing software, motion graphics platforms) to push creative boundaries. Content Creation Strategy: Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to conceptualize and execute videos that elevate Mugafi’s brand. Efficiency & Hustle: Work smartly to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality. Collaboration: Partner with writers, designers, and other creators to bring ideas to life cohesively. Quality Control: Ensure final products meet brand standards and technical requirements across platforms. What We’re Looking For: Experience: 3+ years in video editing, with a portfolio demonstrating creative and impactful work. Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and AI-driven platforms (e.g., Runway, Descript). Creative Thinking: Ability to think beyond conventional editing and innovate with visuals, sound, and storytelling techniques. Problem-Solver: A proactive approach to identifying challenges and providing solutions. Self-Starter: Someone who doesn’t need hand-holding and can take ownership of projects from concept to delivery. Adaptability: Comfort with working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Visionary: A deep understanding of Mugafi’s goals and the ability to reflect them in your work. Hustle & Smart Work: A "get-it-done" attitude with a focus on working efficiently and effectively. Bonus Points: Experience with AI tools for video editing and content generation. Knowledge of entertainment industry trends, including storytelling, franchise-building, and audience engagement. Familiarity with social media trends and platform-specific video requirements (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.).
