Senior Video Editor

Role Overview

The Senior Video Editor will be responsible for conceptualizing, editing, and delivering high-quality video content that drives brand love, engagement, and conversions. You’ll work closely with the marketing, design, and product teams to create content for campaigns, product launches, social media, and brand films. This is a role for someone who is not only skilled in editing but also has a strong sense of storytelling, aesthetics, and motion graphics.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end video editing process for Foxtale campaigns, from raw footage to final delivery.
• Create short-form and long-form content for

  social media (Reels, YouTube), ads, product films, and campaign videos

  .
• Design

  attention-grabbing hooks

  for performance ads and social-first content.
• Adapt videos into multiple dimensions (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) based on platform requirements.
• Collaborate with the creative, brand, and marketing teams to translate briefs into compelling video stories.
• Experiment with editing styles, transitions, and motion graphics to keep content fresh and engaging.
• Stay updated with digital content trends, especially in

  beauty, skincare, and lifestyle

  spaces.
• Manage timelines, version control, and ensure consistent quality delivery.
• Mentor and guide junior editors/interns if needed.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in video editing, preferably in

  D2C, beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands

  .
• Strong command over editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Proficiency in

  motion graphics and basic animation

  .
• Solid understanding of

  storytelling, pacing, and sound design

  .
• Experience in creating

  platform-specific content

  (Instagram Reels, YouTube, Meta Ads, etc.).
• A strong portfolio/reel showcasing diverse editing styles and storytelling.
• Ability to work in a

  fast-paced, high-growth startup environment

• Creative thinker with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
