Senior UX Engineer

Role Overview

This role is not for the average UX designer.

You’ll move well beyond common cards, tables, and box-based layouts. We’re looking for someone who can invent new ways for users to interpret, prioritize, and act on complex information at scale. If you have a strong point of view about the limitations of generic dashboards and want to set new trends in UX for complex data, this is your opportunity.

What You’ll Do:

• Imagine and build fresh patterns for data exploration, triage, and investigation, helping users make sense of massive, fast changing datasets with minimal friction.
• Develop original, intuitive visualizations and workflows that surface critical insights and relationships, moving well beyond industry standard charts and widgets.
• Critically assess current enterprise UX conventions and propose bold alternatives, especially for scenarios with high data density and real-time demands.
• Design solutions that remain clear and usable even as data grows by orders of magnitude anticipating challenges around cognitive load, visual clutter, and information overload.
• Rapidly prototype new ideas and validate with real users, iterating on what works and what doesn’t.
• Work side by side with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to ensure UX is baked into every stage of the product, never an afterthought.
• Deliver features and flows that set a new bar for user experience in data heavy enterprise environments raising expectations for what’s possible and influencing the industry.

What We’re Looking For:

• Deep experience designing for data rich products, dashboards, or analytics workflows, with a portfolio showing creative problem solving and original thinking.
• Strong opinions and a willingness to challenge “best practices” when they no longer serve users dealing with overwhelming information.
• Comfort working with ambiguity, open ended requirements, and tough technical constraints turning raw problems into polished, practical solutions.
• Passion for hands-on prototyping and pushing pixels, not just strategy or research.
• Track record of delivering UX that has moved the needle for power users in demanding settings (bonus: experience with real-time, streaming, or investigative workflows).

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience designing and shipping enterprise-grade web/mobile products with measurable impact.
• Strong skills in Figma / modern prototyping tools, and front-end frameworks.
• Deep understanding of UX patterns for dense, information rich applications & dashboards.
• Demonstrated user empathy and ability to translate complex requirements into elegant, accessible solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executive presence.
