As a Senior Testing Analyst (SAS-PEGA) (AVP) in Consumer Credit Risk at our company, your primary responsibility is to develop and manage comprehensive test strategies, plans, and scripts to ensure the accurate integration of credit risk strategies and business rules across various teams and platforms. Your role will involve testing the implementation of credit strategies to support the organization's broader credit risk initiatives and driving continuous improvements in testing methodologies. You will report to the Senior Leader in Consumer Credit Risk Testing and Validation. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development of comprehensive test strategies for credit risk models, decisioning engines, and business rules driving consumer lending and credit risk assessments. - Oversee the creation of detailed test plans, including scope, objectives, resources, schedules, and deliverables aligned with the credit risk framework. - Direct the design and execution of test scripts validating credit risk rules integration, ensuring accuracy in reflecting risk factors, decision rules, and regulatory compliance requirements. - Ensure alignment of test cases with credit risk policies and thorough testing of any changes in strategy for functional and operational accuracy before deployment. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate business rules and risk models effectively. - Implement strong risk management practices throughout the testing process to identify and mitigate potential issues and risks associated with new credit risk strategies. - Drive continuous improvements in test methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in credit risk-related testing activities. - Ensure accurate reporting of test results, including defect tracking, resolution, and metrics reflecting testing effectiveness and coverage, along with maintaining thorough documentation of test strategies and processes. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, risk management, information technology), with a Master's degree or certifications in credit risk, financial analysis, or software testing being a plus. - 7+ years of experience in consumer credit risk management or financial services, including executing test strategies for credit risk systems or decision engines. - Strong knowledge of credit risk modeling, decisioning platforms, rules engines, and proficiency in SQL and SAS. - Proven leadership experience in leading high-performing teams in complex testing environments. - Strong analytical mindset, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience with technology platforms and data analytics supporting risk model testing and validation.
