Job Title:

Senior Test Automation Engineer

Location:

Chennai , Pune

Total Experience:

5–7 years

Relevant Experience:

5–7 years

Mandatory Skills (Top 5 For Screening)

Advanced proficiency in Java, Selenium, Rest Assured
Expertise in API Testing using tools like Postman, Insomnia, including JSON/XML validation
Strong hands-on experience with TestNG, Cucumber, BDD, Git version control, Maven
Good understanding of SQL
Familiarity with Git, Jenkins/TeamCity, Maven/Gradle
Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

UNIX
Parallel execution techniques, reporting techniques
Cross-browser testing
Knowledge of Performance testing, Security testing
Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Karate
Domain experience in Payments processing systems (GPP, MPY, SEPA)

Design and enhance automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD workflows for seamless delivery pipelines.
Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in test automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing with business goals.
Develop and maintain test reporting mechanisms for transparency.
Monitor test execution performance and optimize for efficiency.
Perform defect root cause analysis (RCA) and verification using application logs.
