Senior Test Automation Engineer

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer with expertise in Cypress/Selenium, you will be tasked with leading our test automation initiatives and driving the quality assurance strategy. Your role will involve mentoring team members, ensuring alignment of automation frameworks with industry standards, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your responsibilities will include defining and implementing the test automation strategy, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with stakeholders to align quality goals with business objectives. You will design and enhance automation frameworks, develop test scripts for various types of testing, and lead test planning and execution processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing automation test results, managing defects, implementing performance and load testing strategies, and staying updated on emerging tools and technologies in test automation. Collaboration with product managers, developers, and QA teams is essential to integrate testing seamlessly into the development lifecycle. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation. Proficiency in Cypress/Selenium, JavaScript/TypeScript, testing methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, RESTful API testing, and version control tools is required. Preferred qualifications include prior leadership experience in QA or test automation, familiarity with additional testing tools, performance and load testing experience, and relevant certifications.
