Senior Test Automation Engineer

• Senior Test Automation Engineer We are seeking a skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer with over 5 years of experience in front-end, back-end, and performance testing automation
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, hands-on automation framework development and its best practices, and software development life cycle (SDLC)

Key-skills:

• Automation Testing tool set, custom user interface testing, API testing, Performance testing, Security testing, Python, Nodejs, Atlassian Stack or Azure DevOps

Responsibilities:

• As a Data Test Engineer / ETL tester you would be responsible for validating data sources, extracting data applications of transformation logic, and uploading data in target tables
• You would be responsible for designing, testing, and troubleshooting the companys data storage system before it goes live
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts, such as star schemas, snowflakes, dimensions, facts Define scope, execution plans, and coordinate test activities
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to support a robust automation framework
• Implement front-end, back-end, and performance testing automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved
• Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to junior members of the team
• Conduct analysis of automation test results and present to stakeholders
• Continuously improve upon existing methods and processes for automation testing
• Ensure all signoffs on deliverables (overall test strategy, test plan, test cases) and that testing meets governance requirements
• Strong experience in the following technologies preferred -SQL, Python scripting
• Identify test approaches, coverage, requirement gaps and risks and risk remediation Participate in data conversion Testing and data maintenance, authoring SQL queries to fetch the data between various databases, execute them and analyze the data
• Review Data Models, Data Mappings, Architectural Documentation to create/execute effective SIT Test Plans and SIT test cases Validates data by running queries in the database and verify that the results match the expectations
• Analyzes and troubleshoots erroneous results, determines the root cause of defects, logs the defects in JIRA and enables defect management, including working with the development team on the resolution of Software related defects
• In-depth knowledge of architectural patterns, design principles, and best practices
• Writing queries to extract data for test case data comparison

RESTRICTED Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a test automation engineer in an organization working on challenging projects (5+ years) in regulated environments
• Must have strong hands-on experience with major hyperscalers such as Google Cloud Platform (preferred), Amazon Web Service or Azure (3+ years)
• Proven experience with both white box and black box testing
• Proficiency in test automation using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, etc Strong experience in API testing and automation using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Rest assured or similar
• Expertise in creating and maintaining API test frameworks and scripts
• Experience in validating and verifying API responses, status codes, and performance times
• Knowledge of API authentication methods such as OAuth, JWT, etc Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger or API Blueprint
• Proficiency in performance testing and automation using tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling or similar
• Experience in performance bottleneck analysis, system tuning, and optimization
• Understanding of performance test results interpretation and reporting
• Strong knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience of working in regulated environment of healthcare, medical imaging technologies & with diverse teams like data science methodology, data engineering practices is of advantage
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to understand & participate in complex concepts
• Strong analytical problem-solving ability & self-motivated with excellent organizational skill
