Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Talent Acquisition

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for

    manufacturing shop-floor roles

    , including CNC operators, VMC operators, welders, machinists, supervisors, and production staff.
  • Manage hiring for

    engineering, technical, and senior management roles

    , including plant leadership, operations heads, functional managers, and support leadership positions.
  • Partner closely with leadership and department heads to understand manpower planning, skill requirements, and hiring priorities.

Manufacturing & Technical Hiring Expertise

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, fabrication, welding standards, and shop-floor environments.
  • Evaluate candidates on technical capability, hands-on experience, certifications, safety awareness, and production readiness.
  • Support urgent, volume-based, and niche technical hiring requirements.

Leadership & Senior-Level Hiring

  • Manage confidential and strategic hiring for senior and top management roles.
  • Conduct competency-based interviews and assess leadership, cultural fit, and functional depth.
  • Coordinate final discussions, compensation alignment, and offer closures with leadership.

Stakeholder & Process Management

  • Act as a strategic hiring partner to business heads and leadership teams.
  • Drive structured recruitment processes, interview frameworks, and decision timelines.
  • Ensure seamless candidate experience and high-quality closure rates.

Vendor, Consultant & Market Management

  • Build and manage a reliable network of recruitment consultants and manpower vendors for manufacturing and leadership hiring.
  • Track vendor performance, cost efficiency, and hiring quality.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability in the manufacturing sector.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain recruitment dashboards, MIS reports, and hiring trackers.
  • Ensure recruitment practices align with company policies and statutory guidelines.
  • Support onboarding, induction, and early engagement for critical hires.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • 5-8 years of experience in

    talent acquisition

    , with

    strong exposure to manufacturing companies

  • Proven experience hiring for:
    • CNC & VMC operators and programmers
    • Welding & other roles
    • Production, quality, maintenance, and shop-floor leadership
    • Senior management and leadership positions
  • Prior experience in

    engineering, manufacturing, oil & gas, heavy engineering, or industrial environments

  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage high-volume as well as strategic leadership hiring
  • Process-oriented, decisive, and execution-focused.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • HR / Talent Acquisition certifications are an added advantage
