Senior Tableau Developer & Administrator

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities: Oversee daily administration and maintenance of Tableau Cloud, ensuring optimal performance and user access. Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve errors in Tableau Prep flows and extract refresh schedules. Design, develop, and enhance interactive Tableau dashboards using Tableau Desktop. Collaborate with business units and Data Engineering to gather requirements and translate them into data models and visualizations. Implement and maintain business KPIs and data transformation logic in Snowflake and Tableau. Apply business rules and data transformations using Snowflake and Tableau Prep. Lead meetings with business and technical stakeholders, keeping discussions on track and aligned with project objectives. Communicate clearly and effectively with senior leadership regarding project status, and technical recommendations. Mentor and provide guidance to junior Tableau and data resources as needed. Experience & Skills Fitment: 5-7 years of experience in data visualization and business intelligence. Proven experience with Tableau Cloud administration and Tableau Desktop development. Strong proficiency in SQL for data transformation and analysis. 1-3 years of experience working with Snowflake data warehousing. Ability to independently manage tasks and timelines in a fast-paced environment. Strong collaboration skills with the ability to lead and support junior team members. Good to Have: Certification: Tableau Desktop Qualified Associate. Experience with both Snowflake and SQL Server environments. Exposure to enterprise-scale BI deployments and best practices.
